Lāŏcŏon ( Laucŏon ), ontis, m., = Laokoôn, a son of Priam and Hecaba, priest of the Thymbrean Apollo, who was killed, with his two sons, at the altar by two serpents, Verg. A. 2, 41; 201; Hyg. Fab. 135:
